With the growing popularity of social networking sites like Facebook, message boards seem to be almost a thing of the past. I don’t get it myself. I have a Facebook account but find it daunting, trying to keep track of my favorite people’s updates and posts amid the deluge. More frustrating, once you find an update you want to keep track of, to view the replies or contribute to the conversation, it is quickly buried.

I’ve been working on setting up a forum on my site for a while, and recently got the kick in the ass I needed to finally finish it. I even gave it a cool name and easy to remember web address - www.explodingheadzone.com.

I want to make it clear that this is not just a place for me to pimp my books. There is a section of the forum created for that purpose, but the main forum is a free for all. Talk about whatever the hell you want. Share personal stories, good news, bad news. Talk about your favorite movies, books, music … whatever you want! The rules are few and simple.
