First of all, I want to offer a sincere thank you to everyone who preordered a copy of the Six Little Friends edition of my upcoming novella, Sex, Death & Honey. The production values on this book were going to be the highest, the materials the finest, and I do think SD&H is one of my best stories, but $175 is a lot of money for a limited. And the lettered? Oy-vey!
Cargo Cult Press has decided, wisely I think, to put their Six Little Friends Premium Imprint on hold for a year or so, and release Sex, Death & Honey as a standard CCP numbered and lettered edition.
What does this mean to those who ordered the Six Little Friends edition? Your pre-orders have been canceled and your money returned (I’m sure you’ve all noticed this by now), and in another month or so you’ll be able to order Sex, Death & Honey again at a greatly reduced price; $50 for the limited and $300 for the lettered.
For those of you who were unable to afford or justify the Six Little Friends prices ($175 for the limited and $500 for the lettered), now you don’t have to. I hope that everyone who wanted to read this story will now be able to (well, the first 150 anyway, since that’s the limitation).
I’ll let you all know the day Sex, Death & Honey goes back up for pre-order.
All the best,
Brian Knight
